2012 October. Etaphase is pleased to announce it’s completion of demonstration of implementation of nano-scale HUDS architecture in silicon-on-insulator CMOS. This work confirms that optimized hyperuniform disordered structures can be implemented in silicon for photonic communications components using conventional industry-standard lithography techniques.
2012 June. Etaphase and Princeton enter into exclusive license agreement for intellectual property pertaining to Quasicrystals and HUDS technology.
2012 June. Etaphase, Incorporated formed as a spin-out company of Princeton University and Auxin Partners, LLC. Etaphase will develop products and services based on breakthrough materials science work developed by a team led by Princeton professor Paul Steinhardt, the Einstein Chair of Science.
